Momentum Drilling fluids is a small independent service company that maintains the values of being a premier service focused company. With the inception of Momentum in 2012, the primary goal was to not just sell a product but see the vision through by providing a real and valuable service. A service that will truly aid our clients in optimization through some key factors. To do this Momentum focusses on Communication, Data Gathering & Analysis, and Implementation & Efficiency.

Communication is the most important part of being a great service provider. Momentum focusses on ensuring all parties are involved and creating a platform where all ideas are important. This includes parties for the operator and service provider. Having everyone on the same page and their input included is what will ultimately ensure the success of efficiency. We include office and field personnel with complete transparency. Communicating ideas, and consistently being on the same page, ultimately leads to successful drilling operations, reduced overall cost, and the common goal of economic success.
Data Gathering and Analysis is the driver to Communication & Implementation. Gathering data is about consistency and transparency. Momentum engineers will always provide transparent numbers with explanation. Gathering data should always include what the fluids results affect to complete the story. Closely monitoring trends is key to understanding what is moving results or hindering results. Momentum does not limit data gathering and analysis to fluid properties, but also gathers all performance rig data to help correlate trends and improve overall efficiencies. Analyzing the data collected in a team effort, often including input and collaboration with our clients. The end result is what drives us but having everyone aware of how we are all getting there is just as important.
Implementation & Efficiency is the final key to establishing operational success and reducing overall well cost. Being consistent while implementing all changes is important in maintaining efficiencies. This circles back to communication and having everyone on the same page of goals and expectations. Momentum values the knowledge and experience everyone on and off location has to offer. It is important that everyone involved in the operation can provide input and ideas. The transparency of the operation will encourage a positive environment for a successful operation and will encourage complete follow through with implementation.
